SnapGuest - PRIVACY POLICY

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING ANY PART OF THE APPLICATION.
1. OVERVIEW
SnapGuest d.o.o. ("SnapGuest ", "we," or "us") respects the privacy of users of SnapGuest mobile application (the "App"). The following privacy policy (the "Policy") tells you about the information that SnapGuest collects through the App and related online services and how SnapGuest may use or disclose that collected information. If you use the App, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this Policy, as modified from time to time by us, as described below. Your use of the App is also governed by the Terms of Service, which are expressly incorporated into this Policy.
2. UPDATES
SnapGuest reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time, and will post any revised Policy on this page. You will know we have changed the Policy when you see a new updated date at the top of this Policy. SnapGuest will not notify its App users of any such changes by e-mail or other personal contact. We encourage you to check the date of this Policy whenever you use this App so that you will know when you need to review the Policy for modifications.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTION
SnapGuest may collect and store on your device any information you voluntarily submit through the App. Such information may include your user credentials and any personal information required for tourist checkins via SnapGuest system. Users of the App (the "User", "you", or "your") must obtain informed consent from tourists prior to collecting their personal information and submitting them to the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services via the App. In the event of collecting personal information of minors, the User must obtain informed consent from the minor's parent or legal guardian. Tourist personal information is stored online in cloud. The user can access them only through their user account and password in the snapguest application. Guests data is sent to the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services via encrypted https protocol for the purposes of registering tourist visits in the Republic of Slovenia, as required by the Law. Users have to check the accurancy of the guest data before sending it to the AJPES (Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services) with the »SAVE« command.
4. INFORMATION USE PRACTICES
SnapGuest may use the personal information or other data collected, as described above, for such purposes as to allow communication with the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services.
5. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Depending on your use of the App, submitted information my be available to SnapGuest system administrators and officials of the Republic of Slovenia and its agencies, as prescribed by the Law. SnapGuest may use third-party companies, agents, or contractors to perform service on our behalf. For example, SnapGuest may partner with other companies to deliver the services of obtaining and analyzing personal information from personal documents, or otherwise assist SnapGuest in better serving the App's users. During the course of providing SnapGuest with these services, these third-parties may have access to your personal and non-personal information, as well as the collected personal information of tourists. These companies are not permitted to use the personal information except for the purpose of providing the services we request of them. SnapGuest also reserves the right to disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to establish or exercise legal rights, or in situations involving potential threats to physical safety. In the event that SnapGuest is acquired by or merged with a third party, we reserve the right, to sell or otherwise transfer any and all information we have collected from you as part of that transaction and such third party will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Policy.
6. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The App may contain links to the websites or other web services not owned nor controlled by SnapGuest. We do not necessarily review or endorse the content of these linked web sites or web services. You should review the terms of service and privacy policies of all external services.
7. SECURITY
We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect the information we collect in the App. Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% effective. Accordingly, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your or your tourists' personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. You are responsible for restricting access to your device through which you access the App. Users of public, shared or unprotected mobile devices should log out at the completion of each use of the App. By using the App, or providing personal information to us through any means, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of this App.
8. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT TERMINATION
SnapGuest uses your eTurizem account for delivering the services. Your account information is stored exclusively on the device on which you are using the App, and is used solely for secure communcation with the API. If you terminate your eTurizem user account via external services, you are also required to uninstall the App or otherwise remove the account information on all affected devices.
By deleting the user account in the application, all the personal data from the user stored by Snapguest is deleted completely. All data about guests is also deleted.
9. VIEWING AND UPDATING INFORMATION
Through the user's settings, the user has the ability to change the personal data that we store about him at any time. All information that is stored on the user can be obtained in a machine-readable form on request. User can also completely delete all the data that Snapguest stores about him by deleting his user account. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of your personal information that you provide to or through the App. If you would like to update your eTurizem information or believe you have submitted inaccurate information through the App, and would like to change such information, please refer to the eTurizem system to do so.
The SnapGuest user is responsible for the truth and accuracy of all the information that he has provided in all required (mandatory) fields in the app.
The consequences of untrue and inaccurate data affecting the user or his accommodation, are answered solely by the user himself. The user is also responsible for the consequences if he deliberately or unintentionally deletes the accommodation from the app or his user account. With this action, all guest data are deleted.
10. DATA PROCESSING
SnapGest uses Google Analytics, data processing services owned by Google Inc. We do not cover this data in order to identify users, but in order to analyze the useage of the average user in order to add improvements in user experience. In accordance with good practice we use the function "anonymize IP". By doing this, the IP address is processed only in abbreviated form, so the identity of an individual based on the IP address is disabled. The IP address that we provide from Google Analytics from your browser does not associate with other Google data. To prevent the sending of such data, you can use appropriate add-ons in browsers that block such requests. If a user agrees to sending statistics linked to his identification number, he does so by selecting an option field within the settings in the application. Statistics are used exclusively for a better user experience, which we can provide on the basis of statistical data to users.
11. EMAILING
Email messages are sent only to users who have explicitly agreed to receive email notifications. System emails such as eTurizem activation, eTurizem deactivation, forgotten password are sent to all users as they are necessary for the smooth operation of the application. To send a tourist tax report to the email, the user sets the recipients to whom he wants to send the report himself, and manually initiates sending. Subscribtion User can sign up for email messages and news by selecting the checkbox in the settings within the application. The desire to receive email can also be sent to us by phone or email. Mailchimp Snapguest uses the Mailchimp service of The Rocket Science Goup to bulk email notifications. We use Mailchimp services for the smooth sending of notifications to more users. Unsuscribe You will be unsubscribed from receiving email notifications by sending us this request to our email info@snapguest.si.
